About Will

Will Guyatt is an award-winning communicator, broadcaster and writer from the West of England. From the age of four, he knew he wanted to be a journalist. Following a stint editing the school newspaper, Will’s professional career began at his local newspaper, at the dawn of the online revolution, when the Internet was kept under lock and key in the bosses’ office.

Will’s broadcast career began by accident in 2005, when he stepped in at the last minute to cover an interview for a colleague who forgot to show up. Apparently, something clicked, and the rest is history, with radio becoming the main area of his journalistic work in 2010.

Today, Will is one of the UK’s most recognisable voices in technology - heard by millions of radio listeners each week. Will is increasingly in demand by TV outlets too, and also writes for a number of websites on technology. Don’t just take his word for it though.

Whether it’s explaining the latest Artificial Intelligence advance, or Elon Musk’s latest misstep at Twitter, Apple’s newest smartphone or how to keep children safe online, he’s comfortable explaining almost all technology stories in away that’s easy to understand.

Will is a social media expert, having been one of the last employees of MySpace, and the first international employees of Instagram - before taking a role at Facebook showing media organisations how to get the most out of Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp.

Broadcasting from the studio he built in his garden, filled with working classic arcade machines - Will has a 1GBPS fibre connection, HD camera, and IP Broadcasting Capabilities for broadcast media, and live streaming.
